Ed was grateful for a long life and considered himself blessed with the friendship of many wonderful people from Community L i v i n g O a k v i l l e , S t . P a u l 's U n i t e d Church, Colbourne Centennial Center, and the Vistamere Retirement Center. He was enthusiastically involved in many sports activities most especially golf and in his earlier years in Pointe Claire Quebec coaching minor hockey and playing Old Timers Hockey. Also while residing in Quebec he was very actively involved for many years in the Provincial Association for mentally challenged children.
