"We are currently experiencing a major shortfall of donations," said Aisha Chaney, community services co-ordinator for the Salvation Army, Oakville. In fact, the campaign has not even reached the halfway point with only a handful of days to go. "This campaign is our largest fundraising effort of the year," said Chaney. Nine kettle locations are operating daily until Christmas Eve. Kettles are operating at Oakville Place on both the upper and lower levels, Hopedale Mall, Superstore, Walmart and at four LCBO locations in town.
