Children staying at the OTMH this year will get an unexpected surprise thanks to the generosity of the local business community. Now in its eighth year, the `Bears that Care' campaign, organized by The Oakville Beaver together with local businesses sponsorship, will be providing a comforting bear to children staying in the pediatric ward at the OTMH. Even during a time where many businesses continue to experience economic strain, they continue to open up their wallets to help out a good cause. It is always the little things that make the most difference and stand out for a child in need. Knowing that a single teddy bear can bring a smile to a sick child's face is reason enough to participate in this program.
