The National Bridal Show connects brides and grooms with wedding professionals from across Ontario, bringing all the resources together under one roof to help couples save time and money while planning their wedding. The National Bridal Show is every couple's complete planning and shopping connection, with everything from florists, designers, caterers, event venues, DJs, photographers, cake designers and more. All that's new and fresh in wedding fashion takes front and centre at the onsite fashion shows. The shows present the latest in apparel for the entire wedding party. Go early as seating is limited. Fashion Show Times: Friday: 7:30 p.m.; Saturday: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and, Sunday: 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Once again, the National Bridal Show partners with The Brides' Project to reduce waste and help all brides afford to look beautiful on their special day. Attendees can bring gently-used bridal gowns to The Brides' Project booth at the show; the dresses will be recycled for sale at The Brides' Project store location in Toronto. The Brides' Project ( w w w. t h e b r i d e s p r o ject.com) has two purposes: to provide every bride with the things she needs for a beautiful wedding within her budget and to help children and adults living with cancer. Chocolate brunch tickets on sale Tickets are now on sale for the fifth annual Chocolate Brunch Extravaganza on Sunday, Feb. 7. Acclaim Health will host the event at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Milton from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tickets cost $60/adults, $30/children. All proceeds will help support Acclaim's programs. Acclaim Health is a non-profit, charitable company serving the needs of Halton for 76 years. It provides charitable services including hospice/bereavement support, Alzheimer day programs and information sessions, Tele-Touch (reassuring telephone calls) and Special Steps.
