Elizabeth Kostova, the #1 bestselling author of The Historian, will be joining us to celebrate the release of her gripping new novel, The Swan Thieves. A sweeping tale of historical intrigue, The Swan Thieves explores obsession, art, and ancient secrets -- all with the same kind of rich atmosphere for which Kostova is renowned. Her debut and most wellknown novel, The Historian (2005), is a chilling historical mystery in which Kostova's characters hunt the immortal Prince Vlad across twentieth century Europe in a quest to destroy the vampire. Kostova credits her amazing childhood travels across Europe for providing the structure of her first novel. "When I was a little girl, my and along the way he amused me with a series of pleasantly creepy tales about Dracula." Based on the success of The Historian, Kostova's new novel is hugely anticipated.
