Shortly after 2 a.m., two suspects used a rock to smash open the window to Carat Jewellers, 2452 Lakeshore Rd. W. The suspects fled the scene on foot after damaging the window. No entry was made. A short time later, it appears the same suspects smashed open the front glass door to Diamondcraft Custom Jewellery, 87 Bronte Rd. Once inside, they smashed several glass display cases, however it appears nothing was taken from the store. First suspect is described as a male, wearing dark coloured balaclava, hoodie, coat and pants. The second suspect is described as a male who was wearing a sweater with a white emblem on the front, a dark hoodie with the hood up over a dark toque and dark pants.
