"I went to a film convention in L.A. and I met a composer named Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3 and The Uninvited) and I was very familiar with his work," Marrin said. The bill for the flick rang in at approximately $35,000, which Marrin said was a worthwhile investment. "Money came from mom and dad, film jobs that I had for companies and every dime I could mooch," he said. "I did a lot of the things myself to save money. I was carving vampire stakes in the workshop and even making props. I'm very hands-on and I'd like to keep it that way."
