The reception, taking place Thursday, March 4, is hosted by the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Oakville West. It will introduce the 40 businesses that are nominated for the awards, which will take place in April. The awards program is also a fundraiser for the Rotary Club's youth programs. To date, the events have raised more than $500,000 for youth programs such as Oakville Youth Development Centre, Kerr Street Ministries, school breakfast and lunch programs, scholarships and bursaries.
