Tim Hortons, earlier in the month, held its own bowling challenge. The campaign was kicked off in February with Halton Catholic District School Board and Halton Public District School Board bowling events. In its fourth year as title sponsor, Oakville Tim Hortons' store team challenge set a new record with 16 teams raising $10,000. Flynn's public challenge also raised $10,000. In total, all events raised more than $50,000 that will support mentoring programs, which provide service to more than 700 children.
