About 15 students in the Interact Clubs of Oakville will be participating in the District 7080 Interact Conference in Mississauga on Friday, April 16. The theme of the event is Service Above Self and will feature guest speaker Madiah Khan, who last year was the valedictorian at the University of Toronto Mississauga. There will also be workshops on leadership, networking, fundraising and how to organize local and international projects to improve the world. Interact is Rotary International's service club for individuals aged 14 to 18. There are more than 10,000 Interact clubs in more than 100 countries. The conference is at St. Jude's Academy in Mississauga.
