Those interested in participating can do so at one of six cultural forums. · Ward 1 forum will take place April 26, from 7-9 p.m. at the Bronte Historical Society, Sovereign House, located at 7 West River St. · Ward 2 forum will take place on May 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Oakville Public Library, located at 1274 Rebecca St. · Ward 3 forum will take place May 6, from 7-9 p.m. at the Oakville Museum, located at 8 Navy St. · Ward 4 forum will take place on May 12, from 7-9 p.m. at the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum, located at the Glen Abbey Golf Club, 1333 Dorval Dr. · Ward 5 forum will take place May 20, from 7:30-9 p.m. at the River Oaks Recreation Centre, Community Room C, 2400 Sixth Line. · Ward 6 forum will take place on May 18, from 7-9 p.m. at Town Hall, Trafalgar Room, 1225 Trafalgar Rd. The Oakville Cultural Roundtable, which will consider the feedback from these forums, is committed to growing Oakville's cultural vitality by initiating projects that move beyond the strategies outlined in the Town's municipal cultural plan. The group acts as a catalyst to build community capacity in cultural development by supporting collaboration across community, business, education municipal groups and interests.
