What a waste of tax dollars, what a waste of resources, what a waste of fuel. If people have a car mentality, it is because they want to drive cars. Please spend your time and our money on more useful things in our community. We have no desire to turn Oakville into Toronto. We want parks, we want space, we want big parking lots and no buildings overcrowding the streets. We would like to start seeing Halton staff concentrating more on how new areas are built, putting limits on how close buildings and houses are to one another and reducing overcrowding, rather than pouring money into transit. I believe most of Halton agrees with me. Reducing congestion is about placing limits on how new developments are built and planning the traffic grid and roads better. The solution does not lie in public transit. SILVIA BARRETO, OAKVILLE WOOD N' FLOOR We Install All Kinds of Floors "Refinish Your Wood Floor Like New" Serving Oakville residents for over 20 years.
