I count myself amongst the residents who have been trying constructively to address these issues as suggested by Heather Conway in the article, but without success. The Town should select a more compatible site for the skate park, within WOTP or at another Ward 4 park. Let's look at this as a learning opportunity to select a site that keeps kids skateboarding and does not unfairly impact nearby homes. With plans for up to three more skate parks throughout Oakville these issues could be coming soon to a park near you. CRAIG FERGUSON, OAKVILLE Political games won't help Oakville Continued from page 6 be united in their support of Flynn and opposition to the power plant. The use of political games to change the MPP of Oakville is not the key to stop the power plant. Unity and support of Flynn is. Oakville residents should use their votes wisely as not many people would fight for your concerns like Flynn.
