The event will take place from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. and it's hoped $500,000 will be raised by 150 participating teams. Relay for Life is an opportunity to fight cancer while having fun at the overnight relay/camp out and remembering loved ones with a luminary celebration.The event features food, entertainment, the relay, a luminary ceremony and more. Relay began in Ottawa in 1999 and has since raised more than $107 million across Ontario.
