Robbers strike twice, different locations The two suspects sought by police for a convenience store robbery in Bronte Village last week were also involved in a robbery in Waterloo. According to Halton Regional Police Service the two suspects were involved in the Waterloo robbery on Monday, June 7, just a day before the Bronte Variety store incident. In the case of the local robbery, two males entered the store just before 9 p.m. and demanded the lone employee turn over the cash from the register. One suspect showed a silver coloured hand gun. The other suspect gave the employee a garbage bag and ordered the person to fill it with an undisclosed amount of cash. One of the suspects gathered as many lottery tickets as he could and put them in the bag as well. The suspects then ordered the employee to lie on the floor while they escaped on foot. They were last seen running west on Lakeshore Road. The employee was not injured. The first suspect is described as white, 40years-old. He wore a black jacket similar to an Adidas jacket, a white hoodie, black baseball hat with a red shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as dark complexion, 20-years-old. He wore a black baseball cap and a black hoodie. The second suspect was in possession of the gun. Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
