Matthew, a young man of accomplishment and good humour, charmed everyone who knew him. Against great odds, he lived much longer than the mere months doctors had predicted and despite even greater odds, he learned how to excel in a world that could have passed him by. Matthew held a paying job for fifteen years, volunteered in his community and was an accomplished swimmer. He enjoyed his family and friends, visits to Tim Hortons for iced cappuccinos and any activity that involved food. He is the cherished and respected son of Donna and Ed, Oakville. Loved and admired by his sister Kelley of Greenville, North Carolina, his brother Joseph, sister-in-law Cr ystal and niece S l o a n e o f To r o n t o . M a t t h e w i s t h e dear grandson of the late Ed and Elsie Reese and the late Robert and Mar y Kirk. Because of his wonderful ability to make everyone love him, he leaves behind a long list of friends and admirers, principally, Marguerite Rouleau, Beverley Langley and Michele Lowe-Shaw. Matthew is also loved by his god-mother, Evelyn Pollard and his f r i e n d A n n Ve a l e . T h e f a m i l y w o u l d like to thank the nursing staff on 4West and 4East at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, as well as his doctors, Gerald Taylor and L.P. Voruganti.
