Pirates take over County Heritage Park for some family fun Arrrgh me hearties, board your pirate ship and sail over to Country Heritage Park for the third annual Pirate Festival. Country Heritage Park is about to transform into a pirate village called Dry Bluffs. A visit to Dry Bluff involves entertainment, laughter and a jolly good time. The village cast and performers gather each day to put on a special performance for guests, friends and family from all over the globe to enjoy. People can join the pirates for a weekend full of exciting events including: a competitive and interactive play, magicians signature illusions, the ScIrish mob -- a blend of Scottish and Irish music, Yazna Dances and Pirated Faery Tales to name a few. New for this year is the Mud Show -- which is what a dirty show should be about. The Pirate Festival is a sure way for the whole family to enjoy the weekend. The Pirate Festival is also offering a shuttle service for easier access to visitors. The shuttle service will pick up visitors and drop them off at the Milton GO station. This service is offered Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The shuttle times are: 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 a.m., and will return at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The schedule of events run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 31-Aug. 2. Admission costs are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, $8 for children (ages 6-12), and children under the age of five get in free. Country Heritage Park, a not-for-profit association, is located on the Niagara Escarpment, south of Highway 401, on Tremaine Road west of Milton.
