Oakville blasted the Panthers 27-0 at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School, improving to 4-3-1 on the campaign and earning a share of fourth place in the 10-team rep league. Titans quarterback Marcus Membrere threw three touchdown passes in the rout, hooking up with Greg Piper, Matt DesVignes and Brendan McGlynn on those scoring strikes. Membrere ran for Oakville's other touchdown, scoring on a one-yard sneak behind blockers Tim Baljet and Austin Forest. Defensively, Oakville's defensive line of Jung-Mo Ann, Sam Redden, Kiana Bales and Grant Hellman combined for four sacks, one batted ball and a forced fumble. Linebackers Michael Choma, Hayden Corbett and Mac Vanduzer closed down the outside run that had been a key to the Hamilton-Wentworth offence all year. Kimball Mackenzie also had a strong game for the Titans, taking reps at running back, receiver, strong safety and quarterback while handling kicking duties and playing on all special teams. Mackenzie kicked three converts, had two sensational punt returns, recovered an onside kickoff and converted two fourth-down gambles.
