SUCCUMBED. - The little daughter of Mr. W. Williams, upon whose throat the operation was performed last week, died on Friday afternoon. The operation greatly relieved her, and it was hoped would be successful in overcoming the disease, but it seems as if both medical and surgical skill are powerless when this trouble fastens itself upon any of the little ones.
