NEW SYMPATHY. - In Georgetown the people seemingly endeavor to compensate each other on the loss, by death, of a friend, by the donation of a few paltry dollars. The following interesting item appears in the last issue of the Georgetown Herald:- "On Monday last, upon his return from the funeral of his late wife, the Baptist congregation gave a reception to the Rev. J. Coutts, presenting him with $50, as an expression of esteem and sympathy with him in his sad bereavement.
