Suicide at Streetsville.
On Friday evening last a carpenter named Matthew Vary, living about two miles from Streetsville, committed suicide by hanging. He was always considered an eccentric young man and was subject to fits of depression. About ten years ago he attempted to cut his throat with a saw but was prevented by one of his friends. He was an excellent workman, in good circumstances, but was never married. An inquest was deemed unnecessary.
