OBITUARY. - In another column we chronicle the death of Mr. Louis Adams, of Drayton, late of this village, and one of its first settlers. Mr. Adams, with his father's family, came from Quebec and settled in Acton nearly 51 years ago. The place was then a dense forest and the Adam's were its first settlers. Mr. Adams remained here about eighteen or nineteen years, when he moved to Drayton, where he settled and remained until his death. He was respected by all who were acquainted with him. Deceased was a brother of Mr. Ransom Adams, and father of Mr. Wm. Adams, of this village.
