- The funeral of the late C. S. Smith, Esq. on Saturday was one of the most regular and orderly conducted services ever held here. Everything proceeded without a jar to counteract the solemnity of the occasion. The marching and countermarching of the Masonic fraternity was attended with great regularity and with almost military precision.
