Drowned at Aberfoyle.
Last Wednesday morning a sad drowning accident occured at Aberfoyle, Margaret Black daughter of the late James Black, went out to a spring to get a pail of water, and not returning her mother went in search of her and found that she had fallen into the spring and was dead. The deceased was subject to fits and it is supposed that she had taken one while in the act of dipping up the water. It was a heavy blow to the aged mother, and she has the sympathy of her many friends in her bereavement. The funeral took place on Friday.- Featured Link
