Description
Full Text

- The tidings of the death of Rev. T. W. Jeffery, which occurred on Sunday night at Toronto, although scarcely unexpected, were learned with regret by all who knew the deceased gentleman. For years past Mr. Jeffery was a victim of heart disease, and his friends long knew that his life was only hanging by a thread. Mr. Jeffery spent several years of his ministerial career in this county. He was stationed at Milton and also at Burlington in both of which places he was much beloved. He has occupied some of the best fields in his church. He succeeded in leaving his church appointments numerically, financially and spiritually better than he found them. His address was original and striking and not unfrequently eloquent; and as an extempore preacher he was easy, graphic and graceful.
