This week we have the painful duty of chronicling the death of one of our oldest and most highly respected residents of our village. We refer to Mr. Wm. Tyler, J.P. whose demise took place on Saturday last. Mr. Tyler had been sick for some time past, but had recovered to such an extent that it was thought he was quite convalescent, but last week he took a relapse and on Saturday he succumbed to the disease. His remains were interred on Tuesday afternoon and considering the weather was unfavorable, a large cortege of sympathizing friends followed.
