This page contains the birth announcement of my great uncle, Goldwin McCausland Pirie, born April 12th, 1894 in Dundas, Ontario. Part of the details are obscured on this digitized version. G. M. Pirie died on July 1st, 1915 at Netley Hospital in England as a result of wounds received in the 2nd Battle of Ypres during the first World War. His military file may be viewed online at "Soldiers of the CEF."
