MILTON.
The late Capt., William Chisholm, of Trafalgar, whose demise took place on the 1st August, at the advanced age of 85 years and five months, after a short but painful illness, was the second son of the late Thomas Chisholm, who emigrated from Lillycrop, Scotland, in 1819, to Putnam, N.Y., and afterwards, in 1823, settled in this county with his family of three sons and three daughters. Capt. Chisholm was therefore one of those early pioneers of Halton.
