- DEATH OF MR. JOHN GOLDIE.
GALT, March 27. - Mr. John Goldie, of the Goldie & McCulloch Co., died at his residence here last evening after an illness of several months from blood poisoning. Mr. Goldie was in his 75th year and had been a resident of Galt for over 40 years. He was a most exemplary citizen and held in the very highest esteem by all classes of the community. A widow, one son, Alex. R. Goldie, and two daughters survive him. The deceased was a brother of Mr. James Goldie, of Guelph, and the late Mr. David Goldie, of Ayr. - Featured Link
