- ROCKWOOD
Thomas Piper, many years ago, the principal storekeeper in Guelph, died about a month ago, in the town of Barrie, where he resided several years. He was about 70 years of age. He built the last and shoe peg mill in Rockwood, where Ralph Richardson's shingle mill is at present, and which he turned into a grist mill afterwards. - Featured Link
