BALLINAFAD.
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Robert Thompson, 5th line, who died last Thursday from a paralytic stroke, which affected him some few weeks ago at Mr. Cole's garden party. Mr. Thompson suffered greatly but with Christian fortitude till the end came. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn his loss. The funeral took place Saturday to Ballinafad cemetery, when a large crowd assembled to see the remains laid in his last resting place.
