- Sad Fatal Accident in Esquesing.
While teaming logs to Lawson's mill at Stewarttown last Wednesday, Mr. Alex. Robertson was the vicitim of a painful accident which proved fatal on Monday. Mr. Robertson was driving a load of logs, and it is supposed fainted and fell off the load and between the front and hind wheels. The horses drew the load until the hind wheels rested upon his body, and there stopped. The poor fellow was extricated from his terrible position, by a neighbor who was a short distance away, but his injuries were of so serious a character that he never rallied and death came on Monday. He was in his fifty-fifth year, and resided on lot 14, 3rd line, Esquesing, with his wife and thirteen-year-old daughter, to whom the heartfelt sympathy of the community goes out. The funeral yesterday afternoon was very largely attended. - Featured Link
