Death of Mrs. Goodeve's Mother.
The Winnipeg Free Press of last week says: Another of the early-day residents of the city passed away yesterday in the person of Mrs. Wm. Ashdown, mother of Jas. H. Ashdown of this city. The deceased lady had attained a very mature age, and her husband, who is still living, is seriously ill. The deceased lady was born in London, England, on the 21st day of Novembeer, 1820. The children are: Jas. H. Ashdown, of this city; George, of Morden; A. L., of Swan River; Alfred, of Yorkton; Mrs. A. Darch, of Butte, Mont., and Mrs. C. F. Goodeve, of Acton, Ont.
