Mr. Frank Phillips, who lives on the Moore farm, on the Guelph road, met with a serious accident on Tuesday afternoon of last week. He was driving a large load of peas into the barn and was kneeling on the load, when his head came in contact with the top of the door frame, and he was forced backwards. He was taken to the General Hospital, Guelph, and was placed in a plaster jacket. There is doubt as to his recovery, as his neck and spine are very seriously injured.
Mr. Phillips died at the Hospital, on Saturday morning. He leaves to mourn his loss two sons and two daughters. The funeral on Tuesday was largely attended. - Featured Link
