Sudden Death of Kittle Firstbrook.
The Winnipeg Free Press says: "Katrina V. Firstbrook, wife of A. E. Roland, of Toronto, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 27, in the home of her brother-in-law, Percy Roland, at Sault Ste. Marie. Mr. and Mrs. Roland left Toronto three weeks ago for Winnipeg, their intention being to make this city their future home. While Mr. Roland came on through, Mrs. Roland stopped over at the Soo to visit her brother-in-law. She was taken suddenly ill and died Wednesday night of heart trouble. Mr. Roland left immediately for the Soo, accompanied by Mrs. George McLean, who is a sister of the deceased. The remains will be taken to Toronto for burial." Mrs. Roland was the daughter of the late Wm. Firstbrook formerly of Acton and was a frequent visitor here.
