Death of Editor White's Father.
The Milton Reformer says: The editor of the Reformer received a telegram from Toronto Saturday last, informing him that his father, who had not been in very robust health for some time, had died suddenly that morning. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon to the Humbervale Cemetery. Deceased was nearly 81 years of age, had been a staunch Liberal all his life, and was an uncompromising enemy of the liquor traffic. He leaves five sons and two daughters to mourn the loss of the loving and affectionate parent, viz.: W. B., Rochester, N.Y.,; Richard, editor of the Milton Reformer; Denizel, at home; John, of Jersey City; Major Edwy, of Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Geo. Chapman, Toronto; and Miss Millie, at home." The FREE PRESS extends sympathy to Mr. R. White and family in their bereavement.
