- Death of a Former Halton Resident.
The remains of one who was for many years a highly esteemed resident of this county - the widow of the late Robert S. Hall, J. P., Hornby - were laid to rest in Ashgrove cemetery on Saturday afternoon. About twelve or fifteen years ago Mrs. Hall moved to Toronto Junction and resided with her daughter, Mrs. John A. Howson, until the time of her death which occurred last Thursday. Mrs. Hall was in her eighty-seventh year. Her husband pre-deceased her twenty-one years. She was a godly woman and much beloved by her family and friends. After a funeral service at Toronto Junction the remains were taken to Georgetown and thence to Ashgrove, where a brief service was conducted by Rev. H. A. Cooke. Mrs. Hall was the mother of four children, all surviving - Mrs. Howson, Toronto Junction, John in Omaha, Neb., Dr. Thomas in Chicago and Dr. Ernest in Victoria, B.C. - Media Type
