- The Late Chas. Reddy's Funeral.
The remains of the late Chas. Reddy, of Glenwilliams, who was drowned on Tuesday of last week, were recovered from the waters of the Credit on Thursday afternoon about four o'clock. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon under the direction of the Orangemen, of which order the deceased was a prominent member. Service was held in St. Albans Church at the Glen, when Rev. I. A. R. Macdonald preached very impressive sermon from I Cor. 15: 51, 52, "We shall all be changed, in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump." Acton Lodge, I.O.L. turned out in good strength, the following brethren attending: George Campbell, Jr., W.M.; W. H. Walker, D.M.; W. H. Smith, C. T. McLam, Wm. Hall, George Agnew, Harry Jeans, Robt. Scott, W. Frankum, W. D. Smith, E. K. Cook, Robt. Craig, William Mason, Adam Cook, W. Collier, Richard Marchment and Ed. Gamble. The interment was made a Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. - Media Type
