Died at Kingston, Jamaica.
The news of the death of Mr. Roger D. Stovel, 3 Ancroft Place, Toronto, assistant accountant of the Traders Bank, brother of Mr. Geo. Stovell, Acton, came by cable Monday from Jamaica, where Mr. Stovel, his wife, young son and Miss Birchall went last November. The news of the death from the effects of the earthquake came a few days ago. Mr. Stovel, who was thirty-four years of age, went to Jamaica in search of health. He had been with the bank for about eighteen years. The Stovel family and Miss Birchall were stopping at the Manor House, Constant Springs, when the earthquake occurred.
