- Death of County Councillor Savage.
Edward Savage, Esq., of Trafalgar, Deputy Reeve of the Township and a member of the County Council, died on Wednesday of last week after a brief illness. His ailment was a malignant growth in the liver which was discovered shortly after he attended the meeting of the County Council on March 26th. Mr. Savage was one of the most prominent and highly esteemed residents of Trafalgar. He was a member of the Township Council for a number of years, and of the county council in 1894 and 1895, as well as since the beginning of this year. The funeral on Good Friday was very largely attended. - Featured Link
