- BALLINAFAD.
After an illness extending over several years Mrs. Robert Henderson, of the fifth line, passed away last Saturday. Consumption was her ailment and with a view to overcoming the disease she spent several months at the sanitarium at Gravenhurst. Returning home without much encouragement Mrs. Henderson isolated herself as fully as possible for the sake of her family. She gradually grew weaker and peacefully fell asleep.
Mrs. Henderson was the daughter of the late George Cook, and sister of Councillor Thomas Cook, of Esquesing. She was married to her bereaved husband some twenty-two years ago. Two sons and three daughters survive; James P., teacher at Limehouse, George, Annie, Maggie and Tena. General sympathy is felt for the bereaved family.
The funeral to the cemetery at Ballinafad on Monday afternoon was largely attended. It was conducted by Rev. G. Milne, her pastor, and Rev. G. T. Watts and Rev. J. C. Wilson assisted. - Featured Link
