- Sudden Death of Duncan Taylor.
Death came very suddenly to Duncan Taylor, in his room at the Dominion Hotel Monday morning. He had gotten up and was just finishing dressing himself when he dropped dead, heart trouble being the cause. He had not been in good health for several months, and quit work at the Acton Tanning Co.'s works in the early fall. His physician visited him on Sunday, but his demise was not anticipated so summarily. Duncan Taylor was born in Nassagaweya about seventy years ago. For many years he has been an esteemed resident of Acton. He was of a very quiet disposition and was unmarried. He was a member of Knox Church and a charter member of Ivanhoe Camp, Sons of Scotland. The friends here are awaiting news from relatives in Manitoba before announcing the time of the funeral. - Featured Link
