Tenderly Laid to Rest in Fairview
Cemetery Last Week.
The funeral of the late Mrs. John Warren took place last Thursday afternoon. At the residence of her son, Mr. James L. Warren, Mill Street, a large number of relatives and intimate friends gathered as a last tribute of love and respect to the memory of the departed. In the course of impressives services by Rev. John McNeill, her pastor, Toronto, Rev. Dr. Norton, Toronto, and Rev. J. Gott, tributes were paid to the life and work of the deceased, whose fidelity and service were referred to in terms of fitting eulogy. The assisting ministers were Rev's J. C. Wilson, B.A., and G. W. Barker. The pall-bearers were four sons, James, Robert, John and Cameron, and Messrs. Ernest Warren, grandson, and Donald Warren, Hamilton.
Among the wealth of floral tributes were the following: R. Wallace and daughters, spray of roses; Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kennedy, and Miss Nelson, spray of carnations; Mr. and Mrs. N. F. Lindsay, spray of Easter lilies; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Johnstone, spray of roses; Mr. and Miss Gardiner, Fairbank, spray of roses; Mr. and Mrs. Hawe, and the Misses Riley, Toronto, lilies of the valley; The Misses Warren, Walkerton, spray of lilies of the valley; Mrs. R. Scanlon, Aurora, spray of roses; Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Moore, Guelph, spray of carnations and hyacinths; Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Firstbrook, Toronto, roses; Staff at Standard Pub. Co., Toronto, roses; the grandchildren in Toronto, wreath of roses and lilies of the valley; the family, wreath, roses and lilies; Miss Rachel Secord, Guelph, spray of carnations; Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Moore, Georgetown, spray of carnations.
