Wedding announcement of wedding between Ruby-Margaret and Montgomery Chisholm
Notes
"St. Clement's church, North Toronto, is being decorated with spring flowers for the wedding, this evening, of Ruby Margaret Harbun, Gelnview Ave. daughter of Mrs. Albert Victor Harbun, to Montgomery Chisholm Hart of Oakville, son of Mrs. Hazel Chisholm Matthews. Rev. W.G. Nicholson will officiate. The bride is to be given in marriage by her brother, James Harbun, and she will wear an afternoon dress of moonlight blue with a flower hat, the veil tied under the chin. Her bouquet is to be pink roses and lily of the valley. Bridesmaid is Miss Phylis Brooker, wearing a dusky pink derss with matching hat and bouquet of spring flowers. John Oliver Hart, the groomsman, is coming from Springfield College, Mass. for the occasion. The ushers will be Charles Williams and Gordon Thompson, Hamilton. A reception for the immediate families is being held at the bride's home where her mother will receive in a navy redingote ensemble with printed dress and navy straw hat. The groom's grandmother, Mrs. E. Chisholm, is coming from South Carolina. The newlyweds are to live in Hamilton. The groom, an air engineer, attended Appleby School, Oakville; Trinity College, Toronto; and the deHavilland aircraft school in England."
