OBITUARY
REV. GEORGE W. ARNOLD, M.A., B.D.
After an illness of over a year's duration, during which time he had suffered to an intense degree, Rev. Geo. W. Arnold, M.A., B.D., pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church, Guelph, died at the General Hospital Saturday aftenoon. He was operated on a few weeks ago, and seemed to improve as a result, but he took a turn for the worse Saturday morning and sank rapidly. He went to Guelph about four years ago from Petrolea, and was one of the most popular ministers of the city. Great sympathy is felt for Mrs. Arnold, who was his bride a year and a half ago. The funeral on Tuesday was largely attended and was conducted by the Guelph Presbytery, Rev. J. C. Wilson, B.A., Acton, delivering the memorial address.
