- OBITUARY
MRS. THOMAS LINKLATER
Much sympathy is felt here for Mrs. Neil McNabb, in the death of her mother at Wingham on the 9th inst. The Wingham Times says: Christina McKenzie, relict of the late Thomas Linklater, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dave Dinsley, on Friday last, aged 73 years. She was born in the township of Ashfield and prior to moving to Wingham had resided with her husband in Colbourne, East, Wawanosh and Ashfield. Mr. Linklater passed away nearly thirty years ago. The deceased lady was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and had for many years been a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. She is survived by five daughters and two sons, vis.: Mrs. Thos. M. Henderson, White Bear, Sask.; Mrs. A. Nichol, and Mrs. Dave Dinsley, Wingham; Mrs. Plourde, Guelph; Mrs. Neil McNabb, Acton; John Linklater, Duluth, Kenneth Linklater, Milwaukee. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon in Wingham cemetery; the service at the house and grave being conducted by Rev. D. Parris." - Featured Link
