OBITUARY
REV. W. B. FINDLAY
Rev. William Bruce Findlay, Superintendent of Tornto's Industrial Farm, Yonge Street, died at his home on the farm Sunday afternoon. He had suffered a general break down in health, but was able to attend to his duties up to two weeks ago. He was forty-eight years of age and is survived by a widow, one girl and three boys. The late Mr. Findlay was born in Guelph and was educated at Knox College, Toronto, for the Presbyterian ministry. He was pastor at Claremont, Niagara Falls and for some time at the historic Drummond Hill charge. Later he went to Toronto to St. Enoch's Church, and five years ago he was appointed to take charge of the organization of the Industrial Farm. "He was a man who performed his duty at all times, and put his whole heart in it," was the tribute of Mr. Daniel Chisholm, Toronto, Property Commissioner, when he heard of Mr. Findlay's death. Deceased was well-known in Acton, where he was a frequent visitor, being a warm friend of Rev. J. C. Wilson and family. He spoke in Knox Church last fall on the occasion of his last visit to Acton.
