- NASSAGAWEYA
After an illness of four years borne with Christian resignation. Wm. Kitching passed to his reward on Thursday afternoon, 29th May, at Rockwood. The end was peaceful, and surrounding his bedside were his wife and six sons and daughters. The sons are: Mr. John Kitching, Waterdown, Mr. Colin, Nassagaweya; and the daughters are: Mrs. Ramshaw, Mrs. R. Anderson, Milton; [sic]Mrs. R. Anderson and Mrs. George Gordon. Deceased, who was seventy-nine years of age, was born in Nassagaweya township, and he lived in this vicinity all his life. He was loved and respected by all who knew him, his uprightness, and his geniality and keen sense of humor endearing him to old and young. - Featured Link
