BURNELL, Art (Bureau Chief of the Oakville Office of the Hamilton Spectator). On Friday, January 3rd, 1986, at his home Art Burnell, beloved husband of Joyce Hudson Kolfage. Father of Elizabeth Thrams, Sandra Joan Simerly, Kathleen Douglass, Mary-Lou Kuchma, Heather Hume, Phillip, David, John, Alyn, Gordon, Anthony and Kevin. Dear brother of Patricia Pulhug, Harold and Ogden. Also survived by fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's United Church, 135 Dunn St., Oakville. Reverend James Campbell officiated. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
