From advocating to support, HSH also offers a place to stay for the person and often their family, including chil- dren. HSHs growing outreach program attempts to intervene to prevent people from becoming homeless. This Sunday, Oct. 17 from noon to 3 p.m. at Appleby College, the fourth annual Empty Bowls event will fundraise to support the work of HSH. Local artisans have crafted bowls, which attendees select and keep but not before sampling the soup creations of 16 local chefs and restaurants. Tickets cost $50 and are available at www.homesuite- hope.org, homesuitehope@gmail.com, or 905-339-2370. Depending on it are a number of people, three of whom shared their stories about Home Suite Hope. Their names have been changed to protect their privacy.
